The unique value of non-textual writing in cultural history

 Abstract: Non-textual writing “writes” history in the long period of non-textual culture and in the vast world of non-textual societies. The material objects and images of non-textual writing, such as cave paintings and rock art, are of great value in exploring the origin of human civilization and it’s visual manifestation, the means of human civilization inheritance and the process of disseminating human knowledge.
