【内容摘要】江户时代的日本需要大量的汉语翻译人才,“唐通事”以及相应的汉语教育活动应运而生。江户时期被称为“唐话教材”的汉语教科书编写,既是汉语教育的重要内容,也是中日两国经济文化交流日趋紧密的必然要求与侧面反映。江户时代唐通事编写的唐话教材涵盖了大量的汉语日常词汇、会话,同时又具有服务经贸往来的实用性特点,在日本近代的汉语教学活动中起到了积极作用,同时也为中华文化海外传播、推动中日交流做出了贡献,这些唐话教科书还可以为当下的对外汉语教材和汉语本土化教材编写活动提供启迪与借鉴。

Compilation and Dissemination of Chinese Textbooks in Edo Era of Japan: Based on the Study of the Extant "Tang Tongshi" Tang Hua Works

Abstract: In the Edo era, Japan needed a largenumber of Chinese translators, "Tang Tongshi" and the corresponding Chinese education activities came into being. The compilation of Chinese Textbooks in Edo period, known as "works of Tang Hua", is not only an important part of Chinese education, but also an inevitable requirement andreflection of the increasingly economic and cultural exchanges between China and Japan. Tang Tongshi's works of Tang Hua in Edo era covered a large number of Chinese daily vocabularies and conversation. At the same time, they also had the characteristics of serving trade exchanges and having strong practicability. They played a positive role in modern Chinese teaching activities in Japan, and also contributed to the overseas dissemination of Chinese culture and the promotion of Sino Japanese exchanges. These Tang Hua textbooks can also provide enlightenment and reference for the current compilation of Chinese as a foreign language textbooks and Chinese localization textbooks.
