Research on Chinese Folklore relics in overseas collections

Abstract: For a long time, the study of historical folklore has focused mainly on documentation, with little attention paid to folklore relics. Folklore relics refer to various physical materials left over from history that can reflect the daily lives of the people, including movable cultural relics such as clothing, tools, utensils, toys, paintings, sculptures, and architectural components, as well as immovable buildings, settlement sites, and workplaces, among others.
