Abstract: This study reproduces the appearance of Lingnan Bamboo Shed Theater in the 19th century from the site selection, structure, form, facilities, management and other aspects. It also explores the builders of these theaters, their ritualistic and commercial functions, and highlights that the theater type represented by Lingnan Bamboo Shed Theater that combines both ritualistic and commercial functions holds great importance in the study of theater history.
